Why Little Tikes Car Is The Most Loved Toy Car

Updated: Sep 24

At some point, many of us shop around for a fun way for the little ones to get around the house, and while there are many options to choose from out there, most parents in our group agree that the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, is probably one of the best value for money, toy cars you can get for your child.

This little jewel has been produced for over 40 years and like any new car reg, they keep updating the look to keep it relevant and the newest model is no exception with a great new design. Official figures indicate that Little Tikes has sold over 78,000 of these loved toy cars in just 3 months since the beginning of lockdown - and that’s only in the UK!

My youngest son had one when he was 3 going on 4 and he adored the friendly face and used to love imitating driving the car “just like daddy” [smiley face].

Let’s have a look at the positives.

It’s pretty safe and durable.

It can easily be used as a push car, using the handle or self-propulsion by removing the floorboard and placing feet directly on the ground.

It features 360 degree wheels that swivel easily for effortless steering and maneuverability. The kids enjoy that it has a door that opens and closes and it even has a door lock on the inside. It doesn’t stop there, it also has a clicking ignition key and the most fun feature, likely to get on your nerves, has to be the horn.

If you want to take it a step further, you can even get a personalised number plate for your Cozy Coupe!

The only one drawback, based on feedback from customers is that few found it a bit difficult to assemble.

Having said that, with a staggering 75% 5-star rating on Amazon, the overwhelming majority agrees it’s a great toy.
